From the creators of Kazaa & Skype now comes their newest venture Joost. Joost is a new program that aims to bring free television to computers using P2P technology (the same technology used in Kazaa & Skype). Joost seems to be competing with other video services such as youtube, where Joost will have a searchable database of videos. They are also in talks with major movie companies to be able to show movies and tv shows on their service.
The service is currently in beta-testing and has not disclosed a launch date yet. Here are some pics from the software. Visit Joost for more information and to sign up for the beta-testing.
